Post#2 Sound-image and Image-Image Relationships

When this commercial first appeared I was convinced in the first few shots that it was a video game commercial and then as it continued with it's short shots and fast-pased action it became clear to me that this commercial targets the young viewer. This style of editing is reminiscent of many music videos.  The movement flows from beginning to end with not one bit of rest. The music used is extremely fast paced with a techno feel and fits with the futuristic images shown.
The beginning scenes takes the viewer to a battle in a post apocalyptic time. The dimly lit, lack of sunshine suggests unrest. The cars first appearance brings with it the vivid color which draw the eye to the action  and transform the mood of the commercial from violent to fun. The music is perfectly fitting and would be appealing to the target audience of the young, hip and tech savvy. The producer of this commercial fit together a perfectly timed dance sequence/ dance-off of characters as what the war has turned into.

From the appearance of the car to the hamsters driving away the car is shown to bring the facilitors of a party to this otherwise video game styled commercial.
